Zone 12 News: Registration Opens Soon for the 48 Hours at Sebring Club Race and DE
Category : News
I hope you all had a very happy Thanksgiving last week, and we wish all our Jewish friends Happy Hanukkah this week! And of course, Christmas is a blink away, but it’s not too early to also start thinking about the first of the year …
It’s almost time to register for the 2022 48 Hours at Sebring! This will be the 29th annual Club Race and DE, hosted by Suncoast and Gold Coast Regions. It’s always a fantastic event, with drivers and race teams from all over North America just waiting to get back on track (and out of the cold!).
Be a part of the excitement at the legendary Sebring International Raceway, February 3rd through 6th, 2022. You can bring your Porsche out to run the Advanced Solo DE, or if that’s not your thing, please participate as a Volunteer. We also welcome all our PCA members and their guests to come out and enjoy the on-track and off-track activities each day.
The schedule will be finalized soon, but the DE drivers will have track time on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. And the famous Friday night Showcase Extravaganza, renowned Saturday night dinner, and incredible auction are back again this year.
Go to ClubRegistration.net to register for all the events:
Club Race Registration opens Monday, December 6
Solo DE Registration (Porsches only) opens Monday, December 13
And this year there will be morning and afternoon Autocross sessions, so just go to ClubReg to learn more and register for one – or both.
If you’re planning to register for the DE, it’s recommended that you review your profile on ClubRegistration.net to be sure it’s up to date, so you can be ready to sign up when registration opens. Register early, as the 48 Hours always fills up fast.
If you have questions about driving experience requirements, please contact Amy Riches at amy@autoquestcars.com. Or for general registration questions, please contact Dennis Wojcik at sebringclubrace@yahoo.com.
Volunteer sign-up is already in full swing, so sign up today to choose your favorite role! Just go to the Volunteer Info Page to read all about it.
It’s easy to become a Volunteer:
- Select the Volunteer tab at the top
- Select Positions to get an understanding of the various position responsibilities
- Select the Volunteer tab again and then Volunteer Sign-up to complete the volunteer registration
- Volunteer questions may be directed to either Dave Herndon (Suncoast Region) at davidh2310@gmail.com; or Paul Raben (Gold Coast Region) at praben356@gamil.com
Thanks to all the 48 Hours Committee and Volunteers for putting on another great show to start out the 2022 Club Racing season.
See you at Sebring!
