Zone 12 News: Happy holidays … and thanks for the memories!

I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful holiday season and looking forward to some quality time with family and friends. As 2021 comes to an end, so does my time as Zone 12 Representative. I’ve been honored and thrilled to serve as your Zone Rep for the past 4 years, but my term is now up. It’s been a fantastic journey, and thanks to all of you who helped along the way!
Our new Zone Rep will be Leslie Sikorski, who a lot of you have probably already met over the years. She’s served as Membership Chair for Florida Citrus and has been a super Volunteer for the past several years, and she’s also the Treffen Registrar as well. You may have met her there or any number of our big events around Zone 12, such as Rolex and Sebring.
Leslie will be helping to organize the corral at Rolex in January, so if you’ll be there and can help, please let her know now (oneporschegirl@gmail.com)! And if you’ve already volunteered, thank you – I’ve got you on the schedule!
I’ve met 100s of good people over my term as Zone Rep, and I’ve made dozens of life-long friends. It’s been such a pleasure to meet so many members from all over our Zone and all across the country. And best of all, I got to enjoy the ride with my Mom, Sondra, and my husband Mike, which made it all so much easier, and certainly more fun and memorable.
Our Regions’ Presidents and leadership teams are some of the best in all of PCA, and they do so much to make sure all of their members stay safe, have a great time and enjoy their membership in PCA. It’s been a real pleasure working with all the Regions’ leadership teams over the years – and we’re all in good hands with our teams coming in to serve for next year too.
I wish Leslie all the best as she begins her journey in 2022!
I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year! And to accurately misquote our slogan: It’s all about the people … and the cars are great too. Thanks for the memories!
