Werks Reunion – March 9, 2018 – Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort

Join in on the fun at the 2nd annual Werks Reunion Amelia Island on March 9, 2018. Expect to view a breathtaking array of Porsches, from rare classics to current models.

The Corral parking (Porsche only) fee is $50 per car, and you’ll receive an event goodie bag, reserved model-specific parking space, and will be automatically entered into the drawing for several exciting prizes provided by Pirelli. We will be parking all registered Porsches by model. The 356s and outlaws (our featured model) will be parked up front this year.

***You do not need to register just to attend. Only owners of Porsches entering the judged field or parking in the Porsche corral need to register.*** Spectators are welcome to attend 2018 Werks Reunion Amelia Island free of charge (general parking fees apply).

Here’s a tease of some of the special cars that will be on display: The 356 SL Gmund Coupe (the first Porsche to take a class win at Le Mans) recently restored by Emory Motorsports. Emory will also be bringing a 356 outlaw with a 964 Carrera 4 drivetrain. Lori Schutz will be bringing the 911 Speedster Prototype that her dad designed. And Griot’s will be bringing a 908.

Vendors will be on hand to show off and sell their latest Porsche merchandise, and the Omni will be selling coffee & breakfast items in the morning and several food options for lunch, as well as there being a beer garden and cash bar. Feel free to avoid the food lines by bringing your own picnic basket and bottle of wine!

PCA membership is not required to attend, so invite your Porsche friends to sign up. Come out for a fun relaxing day of all-things Porsche.

Werks Reunion was created by the Porsche Club of America as an event to celebrate both the Porsche marque as well as the camaraderie of being an enthusiast. This is not a contest of who has removed dust from the deepest crevices in their Porsche but rather a judged show that rewards a Porsche that has been lovingly maintained and presents itself well on the field. Our judges do not use Porsche Parade Concours score sheets but rather rank the cars according to certain attributes discussed prior to judging.

For those who do not wish to have their cars judged, you may display in the model-specific corrals or if the organizers see fit, on the judged field itself. There are no score sheets returned or protest committees. This is a casual gathering of Porsche enthusiasts focused on having fun rather than solely competition.

7:00 AM – Registration opens
7:00-9:00 AM – Cars placed on field and in parking corral
7:00-10:00 AM – Breakfast and coffee carts available
9:30 AM-12:00 – PM Judging
10:00 AM-4:00 PM – Cash bar stocked with a wide variety of beers, wines and spirits
11:00 AM-1:00 PM – Lunch available from onsite vendors
2:00-3:00 PM – Awards Ceremony
