Category : News

Here is what many of you have been waiting for ….Register now if you want to get one of the 120 Larry Wilson spots
Larry Wilson Collection 2017 .…If you missed this event last year, you are in luck because we are doing this again on the same weekend this year…July 29th…The cost is  $35.00  and includes the tour + lunch at Orbit Racing, a short drive from the collection. The Larry Wilson Collection is one of the best private collections of Porsches and Porsche memorabilia, rivaling the Revs Institute (FKA Collier Museum), Gunnar workshop and the Brumos Collection as a bucket list destination for Porsche lovers. Located in a bunker-like environment near Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR), in Jupiter FL., exact address will be emailed with your confirmation upon electronic registration and payment. There will be no on-site registration. Also for those who have never been to Orbit Racing, you will marvel at the cars in the shop and what might be for sale in their “candy store”. The easiest way to find the event on club registration is to do a general search for Larry Wilson or a date search for 7/29.

Parade update … This year’s parade in Spokane is now sold out. While Zone 12 does not have a lot of members going, we do want to have a get together at the start of Parade so folks from our Zone will get to know each other at the beginning of the event. Most likely this will be Saturday evening. Those going to Parade, I have your contact information, so stay tuned for more information.

ZONEFEST 2017….. What a great event! While still uploading data, some photos and  information is available on the Zone 12 website, with complete results and more photos to come
If you missed this year’s Zonefest, plan on attending in 2018…We’re still looking for a hosting region, so if you want to assure minimum travel and maximum fun, contact me for specifics on hosting Zonefest in 2018. Thanks again to North Florida Region for hosting Zonefest 2017 and their partners (Sonnenschein Region-AutoX, Gold Coast Region-Concours, Spacecoast Region-Tech Quiz and Zone12-planning, marketing and administrative assistance) for taking on key roles and assisting in spreading the workload across a broad range of talents. If you participated in Zonefest and were awarded one of those cool trophies, the custom nameplates will be mailed to the Region president for presentation to the trophy winners from that region. Thanks again to the sponsors, advertisers, and volunteers that help make Zonefest special.

Hoping to see many of you at these events in the future!
