Sunrise to Sunset Rally – April 21 & 22nd 2017
It’s time for the Sunrise to Sunset Rally! The SUNCHASER TROPHY is once again up for grabs between the Space Coast, Sun Coast and Citrus Regions on April 21 and 22nd. Plan to attend the Friday evening reception at 7:00 PM hosted by Shay Rowe and Porsche of Melbourne at their new showroom. We have a block of rooms reserved for $169/night at the Crowne Plaza on Melbourne Beach if you would like to spend the night Friday. Please call the hotel directly (Information below) On Saturday morning at 6:30 AM we will watch the sunrise at the Crown Plaza Hotel on Melbourne Beach where our generous Porsche of Melbourne Dealer will host a fantastic buffet breakfast before setting out across Florida on a fun gimmick rally. Drivers meeting at 7:30 AM and first car out at 7:45 AM. The new evil rally masters will have some interesting elements to find. Dinner will be a delicious buffet on the 8th floor of the Lido Beach Resort on Lido Key with a beautiful view of the sunset over the gulf. You will also receive a commemorative Sunrise to Sunset T-Shirt (Designed by artist Shelby Goode) for driver and navigator. Trophies will be awarded to the top Novice and Expert Rally Teams. All of this for only $75.00 per person.

Larry Wilson Collection 2017 .…If you missed this event last year you are in luck because we are doing this again on the same weekend this year…July 29th…The catch…to be assured a spot you must be a 2017 Zonefest registrant. Yes Zonefest participants will be able to register the 1st week of June on club registration. Non- Zonefest attendees will be able to register the 2nd week of June. Last year this event sold out in 3 days and while we have more entry slots this year, we expect this event to sell out quickly. The cost is expected to be $35.00 again and includes lunch. The Larry Wilson Collection is one of the best private collections of Porsches and Porsche memorabilia, rivaling the Collier museum, Gunnar workshop and Brumos Collection as a bucket list destination for Porsche lovers. Located in bunker-like environment near Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR), watch for registration instructions on the Z12 website and E-mail blasts like this.
Oktoberfast is coming…. Same great event…Different weekend…This is Zone 12’s other Club Race…(the 1st being the 48 hours of Sebring) and will be held on October 27-29 at Daytona International Speedway. It has all the activities you have come to expect …..an Autocross, Driver Education (Solo and instructors only) Club Race and GT4 Clubsport final race. Stay tuned for more information on print & social media, the Zone 12 website and other forums. Registration for all events will be via clubregistration.net and members are welcome to visit & see some of the best amateur Porsche only racing at this world class venue.
