Happy Holidays to all of Zone 12
Over the next 3 months, Zone 12 will be blessed with not only mild weather but also lots of Regional, Zone, and National events. Check the Zone 12 or your favorite PCA websites and plan on having some fun. Here is a brief listing of some of the major events and how to get involved:
January 26-28 The Daytona Rolex 24 hours PCA corral – Always popular and always at the same location. Over the next few weeks a lot more information will be made available. This corral is the 1st on the PCA calendar of corrals, and historically the best attended. While a 2018 schedule is not available yet please see this 2017 schedule for a general idea of what may be coming – http://emailer3.pca.org:80/UploadFiles/2017DaytonaPCACORRALAgendaV4201601151.pdf
February 1-4 The 48 hours of Sebring Club Race – Again the first on the calendar, biggest and the best PCA Club RACE This is pure PCA racing at the world famous Sebring Racetrack. Unlike other races, this one is free to spectators, however, PCA volunteers are needed to help in many areas. Be a part of the excitement by attending the 25th running of the 48 Hours at Sebring at the legendary Sebring International Raceway, February 1 thru February 4, 2018. You may participate as a volunteer.
Volunteer sign up is now open and viewable at 48hoursatsebring.com. Select the Volunteer’ tab. Select ‘Positions’ to get an understanding of the various position responsibilities. Select ‘Volunteer’ tab again and ‘Volunteer Sign-up’ to complete the volunteer registration.
While there are still spots available for the Racer groups and the Driver Education sessions, the area with the most availability is the Zone challenge Autocross on Saturday 2/3/2018. See details on the 48 hours of Sebring website or here: http://emailer3.pca.org:80/UploadFiles/ClubraceAutoX20181.pdf
